Noriecel Mendoza, MD received her medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. She completed her internal medicine residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Jacobi Medical Center, in New York City. She finished her subspecialty training in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center and Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Mendoza also completed a preceptorship program in metabolic bone diseases at the Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Mendoza is certified in clinical densitometry—bone density scans—and thyroid ultrasound, and is skilled in fine-needle aspiration procedures. She has a major interest in metabolic bone disorders, such as osteoporosis, and in thyroid conditions. She also specializes in other areas of endocrinology including diabetes, and pituitary, lipid metabolism, and adrenal disorders. |

Elizabeth Rowley, MN, FNP is a certified family nurse practitioner who practices primary care and specializes in medical weight management through the Body Analysis Clinic at Rogue EMC. Prevention and involving patients in decision-making are central to her health-care philosophy. She works with patients to provide alternative therapies whenever possible, and guides them to form individualized plans to enhance their mental and physical health for a lifetime.
Elizabeth has advanced training in managing lifestyle issues that contribute to obesity and its myriad health risks including: diabetes and pre-diabetes, metabolic syndrome, polycystic ovarian syndrome, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. These conditions are among the numerous medical diagnoses that can be alleviated through lifestyle changes and nutritional supplementation, often without having to resort to prescription medications. Elizabeth’s patients succeed on a regular basis, and helping men, women, and teens change their health and lives for the better provides her with continuing satisfaction. |

Teresa (Teri) Martisak, RN, CDE, is a registered nurse with over 35 years of nursing experience. Since 2002, Teri has taken a special interest in diabetes, a condition that is rising sharply in the U.S. population. A certified diabetic educator and a certified insulin pump trainer, Teri works with people of all ages who have type 1 or the more common type 2 diabetes. She offers counseling and support to empower patients to make lifestyle choices that allow them to live well with diabetes. Teri takes the time to carefully answer all her patients’ questions about diabetes and takes pride in enhancing patients’ relationships with their physicians. |

Heather Safley, BS, CWE, CWS, is a nutritional/fitness advisor for the Body Analysis Clinic. Heather has a bachelor’s degree in health promotion with graduate work in education, and is a certified wellness educator with extensive training in nutrition, fitness, and stress management. She is also certified in emotional healing and freedom techniques and has worked in the education and fitness industry since1992.
Heather believes that weight loss is about permanent lifestyle changes rather than a “diet” fix, and she is committed to empowering individuals to reach their personal weight-loss and lifestyle goals. Heather believes in a balanced approach and works closely with patients to create individualized plans that address nutrition, exercise, and stress management |

Priscella Damours, CWHC, is a certified wellness educator with additional course work in nutrition and stress management. A Southern Oregon resident for 26 years, Priscella has worked in the health-care industry since 2000. She is an important member of the Body Analysis team. Priscella enjoys assisting clients with weight management, and she takes a collaborative approach to handling their concerns. She is passionate about leading a healthy lifestyle and works with patients to introduce or reinforce health-enhancing lifestyle choices. Her personal commitment to, and knowledge of, a diet of whole and organic foods translates into benefits for her clients. She has a cooperative manner and a passion for continued education in health. |
