. He worked in applied research and commercial agricultural and horticultural ventures for twelve years. Following his desire to change professions with medical hands on therapy, Fred trained at the

North Carolina
. This accredited program unlike most focuses on the medical applications of massage. The difference is significant as the accredited program focuses on medical applications of massage. This approach integrated massage therapy as an adjunct to traditional western medicine Fred finished the Medical Arts program in 2001 and was nationally certified as a massage therapist and body worker. He has been licensed, in

, since 2002.
Fred's work places emphasis on the body's connective tissues (fascia), manual trigger point therapy, and deep tissue massage. Utilizing these methods, he is able to help his clients with most chronic pain, Fibromyalgia, muscle aches, etc. He is an expert in back therapy and can also help with any area of the body that does not seem to be responding to traditional treatments. His patients have found significant changes in terms of increased function and decreased discomfort, often after one treatment.
